Moving forward I believe that dockless mobility should provide as big a role in Austin as the market will allow. I believe dockless mobility can provide transportation alternatives and mobility to a larger part of the metropolitan area than docked mobility can also allowing for a more diverse segment of the population to participate. Dockless mobility also will help to include those with lower incomes because of the low cost. Dockless mobility is useful in picking up what the industry refers to as ” last mile transportation gaps ” that buses cannot.
