First, let’s listen to those folks and follow the data to meet their needs. This is an area where we should partner with the tech community a get some innovation. Are we running buses frequently in these community and going in the right directions? Do we need to evaluate the fares paid based on income? Are the transit amenities adequate at stops? Have we been successful in devising effective final mile solutions? These are the questions we need to ask. From our findings we need to act quickly and hold ourselves up to rigorous evaluations.
