Do you support the Austin Firefighters Association right to improve the hiring process within the collective bargaining environment?

Yes. The 2013 effort of Local 975 demonstrates the results that can be produced by way of working with the
union. Upon identification of disparities in diverse hiring, the union insisted that the process be critically
evaluated, resulting in a more equitable hiring process for the department.
