Our resources as a city are finite hence, in my opinion, the need to create more robust public/private partnerships to address funding and support for nonprofits that support social services. I would propose that the city use its resources in a way that helped to identify individual and community needs by way of deploying a community quarterback in underserved and vulnerable communities. This would most effectively address needs and prescribe solutions.
