As Austin grows in size, stature and economic strength, sustainability becomes a topic of ever- increasing emphasis to all Austinites: Would you consider appointing Asian Americans to any commission or task force directed at creating strategies for the future in this area?

Yes, absolutely, As stated in a previous response, I believe wholeheartedly in appropriate
cultural representation. I look forward to working with organizations who represent communities
that are underrepresented. Frequently I find that dialogue about people of color excludes my
Asian American brothers and sisters. This has consistently proven to be a source of frustration. I
absolutely commit to doing my part to increase inclusion on commissions, task forces, boards
and commission.
