How will you coordinate with regional partners to meaningfully address our traffic crisis. What is your long-term vision for addressing traffic in Austin, and what would be the immediate first actions (beyond conversations) you would champion as a City Council Member to address the crisis?

I believe that if we are to start to address our transportation problems we have to start by examining the
problem through a multifaceted approach. I would want to coordinate more with CTRMA, TXDOT, and
CAPMETRO and work towards aligning all of our goals into one singular plan. That way we can all
understand what our responsibilities are as individual entities, but at the same time be working towards a
unified goal, along with working together on projects that work for the benefit of the region, such as IH-
35.
