Besides housing costs, affordability means access to healthcare, food, utilities, childcare options, education, and employment opportunities for all. Additionally, I believe our definition of affordability should also include long-term sustainability that reflects the option to remain in one’s home of choice or have options available to meet varying financial income brackets.
