I believe this a two-step approach and requires improving our existing programs for public outreach and education on some of the existing risks. In addition, I would like to encourage APD to develop programs and procedures to ensure they bring these criminals to justice. I would reiterate my previous response in that the city should cover the cost of a “community quarterback” who can take a regular community needs assessment.
