I helped pass the current parkland dedication ordinance. It was done by
bringing diverse interests together. This was not easy work and a state
legislative bill was filed to remove the ordinance. I defended the ordinance
at the state legislature during the last legislative session. I support parkland
dedication fees and always want to evaluate ordinances to determine if
modifications need to be made based on how the ordinance performs.
