(for City Council/Mayor) After much controversy, CodeNEXT was scrapped from consideration without leaving a solution to the affordable housing crisis in Austin. While much of the discussion has been on homeowners, the majority of Austinites are renters, particularly a significant portion of the population being young residents. What policies would you support to protect students and young renters from being taken advantage of?
