Working with local school districts to ensure that young people have access to technology is key. Additionally, making sure there are high quality technology in libraries and community centers in each City Council District. Further, I want to talk with internet providers to see if the City can help provide some level of connectivity through a public wifi option at little to no cost so that everyone can have access to information. Information is important because it can help people get information regarding their health, employment, stay connected to the city as a whole. I realize the public wifi option may need to be of a lower speed then what people pay for, but I want to look for ways to increase access to information for everyone.
