I served for 11 years in County Government, first as a County Commissioner and then as County Judge. During that time, I fought corruption and helped modernize County Government. I helped build the El Paso Children’s Hospital and three neighborhood clinics that serve everyone regardless of income. I have been a strong voice for the Border.
