I support universal healthcare and will fight for any effort that significantly expands healthcare to all Americans. From my work at the County, I know the costs to a person’s health and to local taxpayers when people are uninsured. Our current system of healthcare delivery and financing is inefficient and costly and leaves too many people uninsured. I would also work to increase our reimbursement rates on the Border which are some of the lowest in the country.
