Yes. I voted to initiate the CodeNEXT process several years ago because I believe that our current Land Development Code needs to be updated and improved. Since then, we have seen that the way this process was handled has fallen short by not reflecting community feedback and priorities. Going forward, I believe that any future efforts should be community-driven and focused on producing a new code whose different chapters work together to better manage our growth in a manner consistent with Imagine Austin.
