How can we maximize transit ridership and decrease reliance on cars?

Reedy Macque Spigner III

City Council, District 1

Educate residents that the one person per vehicle model is broken. Emphasize shifting away from single-occupant vehicles and toward transit and shared mobility. Encourage private-public partnership to increase connectivity to transit and shared-mobility options through vouchers, telework options and flex work schedules. Shift away from on-street parking to more flexible uses for parking spaces that includes pick-up and drop-off zones. Encourage “perimeter parking” outside the city-core and provide safe, comfortable, and frequent shuttle service.
