I believe strongly in guaranteeing and protecting our fundamental human, civil, and voting rights. I strongly oppose efforts to pass legislation like the recent SB 6, or ‘bathroom bill,’ and other legislation that discriminates against the LGBTQ community. Likewise, I support the repeal of SB 4, the ‘show me your papers’ law, and other anti-immigrant measures. I would vote in favor of online voter registration, expanded ballot by mail access, and to overturn Voter ID laws. My office will always be an ally to the under served and oppressed populations of Texas.
