Yes I don’t have enough information to know whether I would support the specific goal mentioned, but in general I value an efficient permitting process, and the shorter the better, as long as it’s reasonable and realistic for the resources allocated for the Department to do so. I recognize that our permitting process is notoriously complicated and that builders have expressed low satisfaction rating with it, so hopefully the additional staff that the Development Services Department will get in the coming year will result in a more timely process that can expedite the building process.
