I ran for Council to ensure that the working families who built our city are able not just to remain but to thrive. That’s why my top three priorities are affordable housing, public transportation, and economic empowerment. My goal is to provide affordable housing in smarter ways and to build a more accessible and reliable transit system to help create diverse, multi-generational, mixed-income communities in Austin.  We must address economic segregation and ensure working families have increased access to quality jobs, good schools, healthcare, and parks.
