I support property tax relief and voted to require local elections when cities or counties propose a tax increase over 4%. I will continue to work with our state’s leaders to keep taxes low, regulations reasonable, and our civil justice system fair so Texas can remain the strongest economic growth state in America. I will continue to work with LCRA to make sure our lakes maintain a reliable supply of water. I have fought to protect victims of sexual assault by passing laws to prosecute criminals who solicit minors online and teachers who have inappropriate relationships with students.
