First, improving school safety and security is a top priority. I have pledged to fund safety improvements for school districts that decide to add security enhancements to their campuses. Additionally, I support ending the Robin Hood school funding system, which redistributes millions of our tax dollars to other districts outside of Travis County. I have voted to increase funding for public education by billions of dollars, and have secured millions of dollars for our local school districts.
