Education, transportation, and school safety. Last session, I voted for legislation to increase school funding by nearly $2 billion and begin the process of ending Robin Hood, which redistributes millions of our tax dollars to other schools around the state. I will continue to prioritize public education in the state budget. I am working to secure transpiration funding to improve our congested Travis County roads and reduce commute times. I have worked to secure funding for SH 45 SW, the Y at Oak Hill, RM 620 and RM 2222. I will continue to work towards funding for our thoroughfares.
