What skills, or qualities do you have that will allow you to discern legitimate complaints that need investigating and a response from the frivolous and groundless ones?

I’ve spent nearly the last 20 years in direct human services which requires the development of a refined (yet always open) ear for complaints. As you know, true suffering typically has an unmistakable tone and should always be investigated, despite the notion that the cause might not be what was initially implied. In addition, I’m also heavily involved in data analysis, and there are certainly local empirical data models which can be used and applied that demonstrate the number of complaints that have been reported vs substantiated and categorized by type and severity, all of which can be used to develop a framework for early evaluation and triaging by priority to best use time.
