As a Council Member, I promoted a partnership for low-cost health care coverage for small local businesses. I will continue to support similar measures as mayor. I also worked to create a city incentive program for local businesses, and held summits to address local business needs, including small businesses, day care providers and small hotels. Local businesses are the backbone of our economy and I will continue to strongly promote programs and resources to support them, including access to affordable healthcare.
