AISD gives every student a computer.  MOST kids (I’m a teacher in a low income school) have smart phones.  AISD is addressing the digital divide by giving every kid a computer.  The city can help AISD.  AISD has a $30 million dollar deficit because of the states’ recapture DESPITE the BILLION dollar bond that was passed for AISD last year.  City can help AISD by fixing non-educational construction items, which will protect some of the money that is recaptured by the state.  Also, tech companies should donate computers to AISD.
