The federal government should not be involved in our healthcare system at all.   They have managed to make such a mess out of it already and they need to step out of the way and let private businesses handle this.  Insurance companies have been price gouging for too long and have driven up the costs so completely out of proportion to what they should be and are passing those costs onto the consumers while simultaneously denying their coverage unnecessarily.
