First, it is imperative that we remain an attractive, livable and a relatively affordable city in order to ensure that we are able to keep attracting the tech talent that we need, and able to keep the tech talent that is here now. We do not want to repeat the experience of other tech magnets that have priced out much of their talent.

Additionally (see below), the City can help elevate the tech sector by bringing tech leaders into the search for solutions to civic challenges like climate change and transportation, thus providing arenas for expansion of their applications.
