Last session, I led efforts to strengthen laws to prevent sexual assault & harassment & help survivors.  I also led on improving government transparency & accountability by closing loopholes in the Public Information Act.  I’ll continue working in these areas. Additionally, serious work needs to be done at HHSC to better provide health care to our vulnerable populations. And we need to improve our state contracting practices.
