I have spent the better part of my adult life fighting for what I believe to be right.  Rarely is this path the easiest, but it is one of passion and conviction. I believe in progressive values; I believe in the freedom of all people to live however they choose to provided they do not harm others.  And most importantly, I do not believe that people’s lives should be obstructed in any way by government. I have specifically spent the past six years running for the Texas House of Representatives. I have routinely answered questions like this one honestly and thoughtfully.  Now I ask: why?
