I have consistently and vocally supported high-capacity transit – especially urban rail – during my time on Council. In 2014, I was one of the only City Council candidates who supported the rail proposition on that ballot – and I continued to discuss my support for rail during the 2016 mobility bond conversations, as well. I still believe that high-capacity transit is a key part of a long-term vision for addressing traffic regionally, and I look forward to engaging with Capital Metro and other relevant partners through the Project Connect process to move us toward that goal.
