I support and voted for the Strategic Housing Blueprint and have led on or otherwise strongly supported implementing multiple Blueprint strategies to help provide affordable housing in Austin. These include maximizing the use of public property for affordable housing; voting to place a $250 million affordable housing bond on the ballot for voter approval; voting to approve Planned Unit Development projects that required affordable housing; creating financial mechanisms to help form affordable residential cooperatives, and more.
