My commitments include: Requiring universal background checks and universal licensing requirements; Closing the ‘boyfriend loophole’ so that anyone who commits acts of domestic violence cannot purchase firearms (as well as preventing gun sales to people with prior violent-crime convictions);  Stopping the new sale of weapons of war & high-capacity magazines to civilians; Giving federal help to school districts; Fully supporting federal research on gun violence; and Improving record sharing between law enforcement agencies.
