There isn’t an issue that Austin confronts where there are not either other jurisdictions experiencing the same thing or where their partnership would be vital in combating them. We have to express how our efforts are complementary and will scale to better heights when we works together. Some things (exp. mobility, water resources, wildfire prevention) can only be fully tackled with inter-jurisdictional cooperation. We have to lead by example, making sure our own house is in order, and engage our partners as much as possible. These relationships are crucial to the success of Austin.
