Yes. The stories I hear from my father, a 38 year participant of construction in Austin, homeowners, and small business owners doesn’t leave me with the impression that we are living up to their expectations of city services. Our delays are costing folks many precious resources. This is a point reform that has been talked about enough, we’ve already needed action. As we ask our residents for critical investments in projects, we need city services to perform to the highest and most efficient standards possible. Failing to do so jeopardizes the trust folks hold of their city government.
