Through my work at PODER, we have advocated for bus riders and we have worked on campaigns for Capitol Metro to eliminate bus fares, install baby stroller racks, covered shelters, 24-hour bus service and high frequency express routes & cross-town routes. We need to work with employers and school districts to stagger working or school hours to have traffic flow more smoothly. Also, we need to create HOV lanes (high occupancy lanes). We need to ensure connectivity with bicycles, sidewalk, urban trails and CapMetro transit.
