Will you refrain from voting to allow the City Manager to execute contracts for controversial projects like the Soccer Stadium on public land and demand a final review and vote of the Council? With a Council / City Manager form of government, Council provides direction for the City Manager and staff to execute contracts. I will vote based upon the resolution presented, so making a blanket commitment to require a final post-vote review is counter to my philosophy of a government that is accountable to constituents and remains efficient.
