Mandate that developers build their share of housing at 30-50% MFI and as well as substantially raise the density bonus fee in lieu for developers who refuse to build an adequate number of affordable units on a multi-use facility. The city needs to also build more affordable housing on the $50 million worth of land that they own and not give the land away tax free in order to finance a Major League Soccer Team. I also advocate the creation of more rent to own units here in Austin.
