We are a nation of immigrants, and our federal immigration policy must better reflect the values that this country was built upon. I support comprehensive immigration reform that prioritizes fiscally responsible and environmentally sound border security strategies, provides local businesses with an effective system to fill their labor needs, and calls for a fair pathway to citizenship. I also support the passage of the DREAM Act, and other bipartisan legislative solutions that create fair pathways to citizenship.
