Public Education, Healthcare, and Affordability. Regarding healthcare, I believe we should expand Medicaid, as those are federal dollars left on the table that would instantly help hundreds of thousands of Texans, but we also need to make our own investments into health and human services, community clinics, and mental healthcare. There is no single lever we can pull to make life more affordable, but I support public investments to reduce the cost of housing, transportation, and other major costs facing Texans in HD 46.
