Before my time on Council, I served as a Travis County Democratic Precinct Chair for Precinct 438 in the East Cesar Chavez Neighborhood and was a National Delegate for President Barack Obama. I have worked on and volunteered on a number of progressive campaigns including for Congressman Lloyd Doggett, Representative Eddie Rodriguez, Mayor Gus Garcia, and Council Member John Treviño to name a few. I’ve also worked on issue campaigns including the ballot initiatives that created the Capital Metropolitan Transit Authority and the Travis County Healthcare District.
