I serve on the Capital Metro Board and strongly support building a high capacity transit system for the people of Austin and Central Texas. Keys to improving ridership include expanding services including higher frequency on major bus routes, strengthening customer service, and building dedicated lanes.

Providing safe and affordable options to get around whether by transit, walking, bike, or other means along with allowing additional housing near basic services will help people decrease their reliance on cars as their primary mode of travel.
